II. Darts Maths Team Competition Super Final
On June 11, the 2nd National Darts Maths Team Competition Super Final was held with great success.
The prestigious event was once again hosted by the Encs Zrínyi Ilona Primary School in the Szerencs School District. We are deeply grateful for their support and assistance in organizing the event.
This year’s final featured 82 teams from 30 school districts, with a total of 303 participants. The competition took place across three different stations, each with unique and exciting challenges.
One station offered a quiz on darts rules and history. Some questions were familiar from previous online rounds, but for the Super Final, the students prepared using an expanded curriculum.
In the school’s atrium, students worked through Darts Maths tasks, including a new word problem format, which they completed with enthusiasm and skill.
Of course, no Darts Maths event would be complete without dart throwing! Teams competed in a darts tournament held in the gymnasium, with the guidance of Pál ‘Penge’ Székely.
The event had a fantastic atmosphere, and every child left with a gift and lasting memories.
Congratulations to all the participants—everyone was a winner!
