II. Darts Math Team Competition Super Final
On June 11th, the II. Darts Math National Team Competition Super Final successfully took place.
The prestigious event was once again hosted by the Zrínyi Ilona Elementary School in Encs, part of the Szerencs School District. We extend our sincere gratitude for their support and assistance with the organization.
In this year’s final, 82 teams representing 30 school districts, totaling 303 competitors, measured their skills. The competition took place at three different locations, featuring diverse and exciting tasks.
At one station, participants solved a set of problems compiled from the rules and history of darts – some of these were already familiar from the online rounds, but for the Super Final, competitors could prepare based on expanded learning material.
In the school’s assembly hall, children encountered Darts Math tasks – including our newly debuted word problems, which they solved with great enthusiasm and skill.
Naturally, darts throwing was also part of the fun; a darts competition awaited the teams in the gym with the participation of Pál “Penge” Székely.
The competition was a great success, with every child returning home with gifts and wonderful memories.
Below, I’m attaching the rankings by age group. Congratulations to everyone; all participants were winners!
